A Serious Word

I knew it! I looked at that face, and I just knew that he'd been up to something, I just wasn't sure what it was!

No Mum, I didn't do anything! I am a good boy!

There I was signing into my social media accounts and that's when I discovered what Max had done!
Hmmm, he clearly thought the cute factor would convince me he hadn't done anything, but he forgot that I have set new posts to pop up on Facebook and Twitter automatically, hence, Little Orange Dog is busted (I've always wanted to say that, perhaps I spent a little too much time watching Phineas and Ferb)! Oh Max, you cheeky, cheeky boy!

I've had to have a serious word with him. I've explained to him that it is not okay to use my laptop without asking, and it is definitely not okay to hack into my blog and make random posts! I think he smirked at that last bit, it's difficult to tell really (he has limited facial expressions that generally shift from cute, to fed up and back again), so just in case I made the point again then asked him to tell me what I had said (it's important to check he understands what he's done wrong). He didn't answer (I hasten to add, I wasn't really expecting him to, I'm not that bonkers!), but he did tip his head to one side and did a little blink with his eyes, so I decided to cut my losses and accept that as an apology.

So now I am left with a bit of a dilemma on my hands, or rather on my feet, as Max is currently curled up on them and is keeping me nice and cosy warm. However, I'm not quite sure what to do. I read his post, it was rather sweet. He said lots of lovely things about all of us and I'd love to know what else he has to say, but I do worry about the safety of my laptop. For a start, he doesn't have a lap to put said laptop on and I simply cannot bring myself to think about the absolute hammering my keyboard will take from those furry paws.

I'm thinking that, perhaps I should let him have a regular slot. Laptop safety aside, a canine point of view might be beneficial (although, we may need to work on his grammar etc. he's not very eloquent). What do you think, lovely reader? Should we let Max have a blog slot? Please let me know your thoughts via the comments. Be kind, he's likely to sneak a peek when I'm out.
